And sorry Cybill, but Elwyn doesn't want to be mistaken for you on the battle field. So new hairstyle it is.

Personality:
As scatter-brained as a klutzy lopunny, it can appear that Elwyn is not always present when conversing with others. Occasionally drifting off from the current conversation and muttering about chores that she has forgotten to do or tasks she needs to finish. She constantly has her nose in the books and her mind always seems to be filled with a million different things at once. Elwyn tries her best to balance everything out but it is blatantly obvious that she isn't very adept in the skill of multi-tasking. However despite this she is a very determined young woman who will not allow failure to stop her. She's usually very polite towards others and will go to great lengths to help a friend in need. The only time when she is completely focused is during her fencing lessons.

History:
Elwyn's history isn't incredibly exciting. She lives with her father, Seamus, who works as a glazier. As a young child Elwyn became entranced with his glass art. She loved how he was able to work with such delicate material and create such beautiful objects. Elwyn's mother, Sophia, died during childbirth, as a result Seamus always tried to make-up for the fact that Elwyn didn't have a mother. He created many beautiful toys and bought her fine clothes so she would never be sad. Elwyn's older brother, Adrian, was not so sympathetic. Adrian loved his mother very much and the two shared a strong bond. Adrian blames Elwyn for their mothers death, his constant taunts left Elwyn very unsure of herself and will quickly take the blame for something. Even if it was never her fault.
Adrian is also very resentful that Cybill chose Elwyn to be her trainer.
When Elwyn reached the age of maturity, her father enrolled her in many different defensive classes. Needless to say she failed almost every single one. She did, however, manage to excel in one. Fencing. Strange as it seems Elwyn loved the sport and never missed a class. Sadly the cost became too much and she eventually had to quit in order to help her father with the shop.
Elwyn's reasoning for joining the Mage guild is unknown, even to her. She claims that she did so in order to help support her fathers shop, but it seems there may be a more personal reason as to why she joined.

Name: Cybill
Pokemon: Gardevior
Type: Psychic
Nature: Docile
Moves: Dream Eater, Hypnosis, Psychic, Signal Beam

Cybill was Sophia's pokemon before she was Elwyn's and after Sophia died she stepped in and helped Seamus raise the young girl. Now Elwyn and Cybill are thick as thieves and it is very rare that you will see them apart from one another. Cybill is a lot more calm and collected than her trainer, as a result one can often find her sorting Elwyn's files or helping her with chores. Towards strangers Cybill is incredibly polite however if she deems them untrustworthy that politeness is quickly replaced with hostility. Should that happen it would be safer for you to stay away, least you wish to be sucked into a black-hole.

Extra tidbits~ Due to the era, some Gardevoirs would occasionally evolve with a full skirt rather than one with slits. Cybill is one of those Gardevoirs.

Pokemon: Delibird
Type: Ice/Flying
Nature: Jolly
Moves: Ice punch, Frost Breath, Aerial Ace, Brick Break

Elwyn came across Ellie when she was around thirteen. The young Delibird was being ruthlessly attacked by a pair of Fearows. Elwyn quickly came to her aid only to discover that they had managed to rip off the small birds tail. Elwyn took Ellie home and nursed her back to health, she has been with her ever since. Ellie is always happy. Nothing you could do would bring this bouncing bundle of joy down.

Extra tidbits~ Because Ellie lost her tail she can no longer perform the present attack that her species are so well known for.


Name: Ash
Pokemon: Typhlosion
Type: Fire
Nature: Hasty
Moves: Flame wheel, Heat wave, Quick attack, Smokescreen

With his evolution, Ash has become the team "tank" and is a lot more reliable in battle. He is now less distracted and more focused when fighting. However now instead of having temper tantrums, Ash has gained a bit of an ego. Always trying to impress everyone, especially Elwyn.

Extra tidbits~ Even though he knows how to use Heat wave Ash has yet to use it in battle. Every time he tries it ends up exploding in his face. It will be interesting to see how Elwyn works around that.


Name: Mouse
Pokemon: Teddiursa
Type: Normal
Nature: Impish
Moves: Shadow Claw, Dig, Hyper Voice, Protect

Mouse stumbled across Elwyn and co as they were leaving the sewers after the big fight with a warrior girl. Intrigued by the troop and tired of living in the sewers, the young bear pokemon followed Elwyn all the way to Driftveil city. Mouse is very curious and often gets himself into trouble by wandering into places he shouldn't be, should he encounter a foe he will either stun them with his Hyper Voice or scurry underground and rush back Momma Elwyn.

Extra Tidbits~ Mouse was actually abandoned by his previous trainer due to his lack of fighting skills and his overall reluctance to battle. Which is why Elwyn will very rarely place him into battle. He also does not have a pokeball so he is always seen trotting happily beside Elwyn
